I absolutely love the message on the card in my hand. I think it’s a message every woman (and everyone, really) needs to hear from time to time. And that’s why I thought to put up this post and say: Whoever you are, whatever your story is, wherever you are on your journey, you are not alone, and you are so dearly loved and cherished! You are known, loved and treasured by the One who made the entire universe. You may sometimes feel invisible and lost, but God knows you by name. Perhaps you do not feel loved or even worthy of anyone’s love. You may even question your worth and value. Still, God loves you absolutely! In His eyes, you are perfectly beautiful and have always been. You are enough. It doesn’t matter if you fit the world’s standards of beauty or not. It doesn’t even matter if you’ve lived up to people’s expectations of you or not. You are loved and cherished, and you are valuable!
As we go through life, circumstances and sometimes even people, will tell us otherwise. Perhaps you’ve been through stuff that have left you broken and hurting. Maybe you’ve been betrayed by someone you once trusted. You may be haunted by voices from the past, or maybe life just sucks, and you feel like there’s no reason to go on. Believe it or not, it is no coincidence that you are reading this post. God wants you to know that He loves you. He believes in you, even if you do not believe in yourself. Whatever hurtful names you may have been called, God calls you His treasure. He wants to have a deeper relationship with you through His son, Jesus Christ.
It is possible that everything is going super well, but deep within your heart there’s a longing for something more. You’ve got it all, but still wonder if this is all there is to life cause when the day is done and you’re all alone, there’s still an emptiness inside that nothing can satisfy. Jesus satisfies that thirst for something more. And if you’re broken and hurting, He offers healing. He gives joy and beauty for ashes. If you let Him into your heart, it will be the best decision you ever make. I’ll end this post with a simple prayer that whoever you are and whatever your story is, you will always remember that YOU ARE KNOWN, LOVED & TREASURED!
